What gets moved
A migration carries the content, images, contact details and forms from the old site to the new one. But the most important part is invisible: the URLs. Every page Google has already indexed has an address, and that address has to keep leading somewhere.
The published price is for simple institutional sites. A store or a custom-built system has its own data, users and logic, and is quoted after it has been reviewed.
Why redirects matter
If a page changes address and the old one stops working, anyone arriving from Google or from a link on another site hits an error. A permanent redirect tells both the browser and the search engine where that page lives now.
Done well, a platform change keeps what the site had already earned. Done carelessly, the new site starts from zero even if it looks better.
When to audit first
If the site is large, if you're not sure what it contains, or if you already see speed or visibility problems, the technical audit comes before the migration. It gives a diagnosis and a list of priorities, and keeps the same problems from moving to the new platform.
